The Worship Pastor: Michael Bleecker [The Village Church] & Andy Melvin [The Austin Stone]
The Worship Pastor's role today seems to have been degraded to nothing more than a person who can sing well and play music that will emotionally move others. In this session we combat this thinking by breaking down the responsibility of the Worship Pastor who leads his church in song as well as with his life. We will discuss 3 things in particular: 1) The weight of leading worship (both theologically and spiritually), 2) the importance of discipleship in the way you lead your team, and 3) practical day to day advice for the Worship Pastors.
