Briefly describe your story of your call to plant a church 

I didn't plant this church, but did more of a restart.

How did you become involved with Acts 29? What have been the biggest benefits of being in the network? 

I network with several A29 pastors, and decided to get involved as we are looking to plant more churches.

What advice do you have for men who are wrestling with the decision to plant? 

Plug into a good network, pray and fast, and make sure your marriage is strong!

How do you pastor your family? 

Shepherding my wife is primarily through time, and loving her like I think Christ would.

Outside of the Bible, what is the most helpful book you have read for church planting?

Church Planters Manual by Tim Keller/Redeemer

How can we pray for you? 

We are looking to multi-site this year, and possibly plant. We need lots of prayer.

We are a people engaged in loving God, loving one another, and reaching out across the High Desert (CA).

What is your philosophy of community in your church and what does that look like practically in your church? Of evangelism? 

We are working on making the shift from Sundays being the main gathering, to the community groups being the main gathering. This is influencing the mission from invite to Sunday worship, to serve and love our nieghbors.

What are some examples of God's grace that you have seen in your life and/or the life of your church? 

Our area is plagued by drugs and violence. God has done amazing work at rescuing people from that type of lifestyle, and healing their families.
