Congregation Profile
Nine families gathered for prayer, strategic planning and worship for a few months before Clear Creek Community Church started on October 31, 1993 in League City, TX, halfway between Houston and Galveston.
The Johnson Space Center and the petro-chemical industry draw engineers of every ilk to the area comprised of 200,000 people. After eight years of meeting in schools, CCCC moved into its first building in May of 2002. In 2009, over 4000 people gather weekly for worship in one of the five weekend services in two locations.
Mission, Vision, Values of Church
We exist to lead unchurched people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
We envision the broken, confused and burned being transformed by the gospel and engaging in a small group of disciple-making disciples who are on mission with Jesus in the world.
We provide an opportunity for people to explore the Christian faith through meaningful friendships and the weekend services.
We envision an army of disciple-making groups on mission in the community and the world as they are growing in their 'followship' of Jesus.
Because communities grow up around high schools, we envision planting a new campus near high schools all over the bay area. We are committed to training up kingdom minded leaders for tomorrow through mentoring, coaching and church planting.
Planter Profile:
Bruce & Susan Wesley

How did you build up your core?
Personal enlistment based on referrals
How did you become involved with Acts 29? What have been the biggest benefits of being in the network?
As a church planting congregation, we were attracted the God centered theology, strong leadership and bold commitment to church planting in Acts 29. Our teaching pastor, Yancey Arrington, connected with Darrin Patrick. We went to the Seattle Boot Camp, connected with Scott and Tyler. The rest is history.
What is your philosophy of community in your church and what does that look like practically?
Community is God's life made available through his people. We express community in disciple-making small groups.
What is your philosophy of evangelism in your church and what does that look like practically?
We encourage each person to pray for their "Top 5" friends/family who do not know Christ.
We urge people to share their story of coming to faith in Jesus and invite people to the weekends at CCCC.
How do you personally disciple your family?
I include them in my walk with God--live as transparently as possible.
How can we pray for you?
Pray for wisdom that we can leverage our resources to be a great team member with A29!
